How does my construction process proceed?

Determining how your newly finished space will be used is key. How can you design that space to make it efficient and to offer a greater resale value? Currently our design incorporates two available colors (Snowflake and Sandy Beach). Our systems are fully paintable, although most customers find the two offered colors to be very appealing.

What happens if I don’t like the available colors?
Basement Transformation Technologies offers a snow-flake white and a sandy beach color that can easily be adjusted to the Homeowner’s specific color needs. The panels are easily painted if desired. We also offer a full line of Basement Mate® Soft Panel colors.

Can I create multiple rooms in my newly finished basement?
Yes, Basement Transformation Technologies has the advantage of designing the newly finished basement in multiple creative ways. Our unique panels are excellent for the exterior foundation wall, creating a highly insulated thermal barrier to keep warmth or coolness in the finished basement. We will recommend ways to repair the problems that are pre-existing and a way to bring the basement finishing project to a successful completion.

If there is a problem behind the wall, the wall panels are easily removed by taking the crown molding, base molding and T-Connector off and simply removing the panel to address the issue behind the wall. Of course, if you prefer to have Basement Transformation Technologies come out to do annual wall inspections, this can be contracted at the time of the installation.

Will the Basement Transformation Technologies basement protect the basement from mold?
Our Basement Transformation Technologies special Hard Panels™ and Basement Mate^® Soft Panels are treated with Bio-Barrier anti-bacterial germicide on the front and back. They also have a special breathing feature and have a high resistance to mold growth. Our wall panels will limit the conditions (within our control) that can cause such mold growth. There is no possible way that anyone can guarantee that mold will not ever grow. However, having the proper building materials and having the proper humidity and water issues addressed prior to construction is crucial in the fight against mold growth. We will help insure that any mold growth that can occur will be kept to an absolute minimum.
